LUMEN QR

Privacy, without the fine print fog.

Lumen QR is designed to keep your QR code content on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Last updated: February 21, 2025

The short version

Lumen QR does not require an account and does not send the content you enter into the QR code studio to our servers. QR codes are generated in your browser, and your designs stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Information we collect

We do not intentionally collect the URLs, messages, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, colors, logos, or other content you enter into the generator. We also do not use advertising trackers or sell personal information.

Your browser or hosting provider may process limited technical information, such as an IP address or request time, as part of delivering the website. That infrastructure-level processing is controlled by the provider operating the deployment.

Local processing and exports

The generator runs client-side. Content can remain in your browser memory while the page is open, and any files you export are created locally. If you use a browser or operating-system sharing feature, that action is governed by the destination you choose.

Third-party services

Lumen QR may rely on hosting, font, or package infrastructure to deliver the application. Those providers may receive technical request data when your browser loads the site. We do not send your QR code inputs to them as an application feature.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy when the product changes. The date above indicates when it was last revised. If you have a privacy question, please contact the person or organization operating your Lumen QR deployment.
